Halloween LGBT Style
October 20-22, 2017

For over 30 years, Halloween in New Orleans has been a huge success and a major part of the city’s LGBT community.

Once again this year, the French Quarter’s LGBT scene will be out in full regalia for an extended weekend. With three days of thrilling events, you can join the fun at any time.

The Events

This festive series of Halloween events boasts elaborate costumes, galas and parties with A-list DJs and local entertainment, drinking and dancing with friends, and even a second line send-off until the next year.

A new theme is chosen every year, which brings out the creative/imaginative side of both the event organizers and attendees. This year’s theme, “BOOgie on the Dance Floor (a Studio 54 Disco theme),” will surely keep you entertained as it persists through the main events of the weekend:

While these special events will take place at various venues around town, you'll find lots of LGBT revelers celebrating throughout the long weekend at the corner of Bourbon and St. Ann streets in the heart of the French Quarter. For details on this events, head to Halloween New Orleans’ official website here.

And if you like to dress up for Halloween, then there’s no better place to be!

Project Lazarus

The mission of Halloween is to provide funding for Project Lazarus, a health care and support services home in New Orleans for men and women with HIV/AIDS. In its history, HNO has raised over $5 Million for Project Lazarus and is one of the only 100% donation/volunteer event weekends left in the United States. So your admission to these must-do events will go towards a very worthy cause.
